The Individual and Societies (Humanities) course aims to encourage students to gain and develop knowledge, conceptual understanding, research skills, analytical and interpretive skills, and communication skills, contributing to the development of the student as a whole. It encourages students to respect and understand the world around them, and to provide a skills base to facilitate further learning. This is achieved through study of Individuals, Societies and Environments in a wide context: Historical, Geographical, Political, Social, Economic, technological and cultural.

This Course help Students to knowing and understanding the Study of Functionality and work flow for different Individual, Societies and Communities that help them to think critically about their cultural and Economic processes.

This is an integrated programme for all five years of the MYP. Students will study topics in Economics, Business, Psychology, Geography, History, and Sociology.
